KUCHING: Sarawak Kuching Polytechnic (PKS) today received a visit from a delegation of the Inland Revenue Board (IRB) Kuching branch here.
The delegation from IRB Kuching Branch was led by its director Abdul Aziz Kechik.
Among those joined the visits were Profiling Unit Head Azaharuddin Mohd Ali and IRB Executive Officer Mohd Zahiruddin Abang.
The purpose of the visit was to strengthen the relationship between the IRB and PKS.
Also present during the visit were PKS director Jamaliah Ahmad and PKS deputy director (Academic) Samsudin Mohd Saleh.
Earlier, PKS also received a visit from officers of the Human Resources Department of QL Livestock Farming Sdn. Bhd, namely, Ivan Cheng and Cecelia Renee.
The purpose of QL Livestock Farming Sdn Bhd’s visit was to collaborate with PKS in the context of offering industrial training and employment opportunities to PKS graduates.
In addition, it was also meant to find out more about the academic programmes offered in PKS.
