KUCHING: Two men aged 35 and 53 suspected of peddling drugs were arrested in a house at Jalan Sim Kheng Hong at 11.30 pm on Thursday night.
After getting a public tip off police raided the house and found a black plastic bag on the table in the living room and there were plastic sachets of drugs suspected to be syabu with estimated weight of 50.93 grammes.
The market value for the drugs is estimated to be about RM10,000.
Both men were detained for further questioning and tested positive for drugs.
They were to be charged under Section 39B of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952 that carries a mandatory death sentence upon conviction.
