MIRI: Two foreign women were detained after allegedly being involved in prostitution during a raid on a massage centre at Jalan Merpati in Miri on Thursday night.
Acting based on information, a team of Criminal Investigation Department (CID) Miri District Police Headquarters raided the premises at about 10.30pm.
It is learned that during the raid one of the suspects, a 30-year-old woman, was found in naked condition and was believed to be in the midst of having sex with her customer.
Meanwhile, the other woman, in her 40’s was believed to be waiting for customers.
As a result of the raid, the police also seized a pack containing condoms.
The two suspects were then taken to the Miri Central Police Station for further investigation.
