KUCHING: Police arrested two individuals suspected of selling illegal lottery during an anti-gambling operation (Op Dadu) at King’s Centre at Jalan Tun Jugah here last Saturday.

The raid was carried out at an eatery around 3.00pm.

The suspects, aged 20 and 18, were detained after they were found openly selling illegal lottery tickets in the premises.

Police also seized a mobile phone, betting slips, stationeries and cash amounting to RM125.

The suspects were later released after their statements were recorded.
