KUCHING: Two men were injured when their car slammed into a tree near the Kuching International Airport.
According to sources, the victims, both in their 20s, were heading to Kuching Sentral when the car lost control, skidded and rammed a road divider before crashing into a tree in the 4am incident along Jalan Lapangan Terbang here early this morning.
The driver was pinned to his seat while the passenger managed to exit the vehicle with just minor scratches.
Firefighters later extricated the driver and handed him to the paramedics at the scene for treatment.
The vehicle was heavily damaged on the front side.
Both victims were taken to the Sarawak General Hospital for further treatment.
It is learned that the driver was warded at the Yellow Zone and is in a stable condition.
