Petrajaya, Kuching, yesterday morning.
KUCHING: After the State Operations Centre received a distress call at 9.54am yesterday from Sarawak General Hospital relating to a road accident at Jalan Diplomatik near Yayasan Sarawak here, it immediately contacted Petrajaya BOMBA to go to the accident scene.
Following the call, Petrajaya BOMBA dispatched three personnel in a vehicle led by PB Abdul Arif bin Ambiji.
Upon arrival at the accident scene, they found that a motorcyclist and his pillion rider were injured and lying by the roadside.
The motorcyclist had apparently lost control of his motorcycle, skidded and landed by the roadside. The BOMBA personnel then immediately attended to the two accident victims before an APM ambulance took them to Sarawak General Hospital for further treatment.
