KUCHING: The enhanced movement control order (EMCO) was implemented at two more longhouses in the state from Sunday (May 16) until May 29.

Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC), in a statement today said that the two longhouses in Saratok district were Rumah (Rh) Entingi Nanga Ingu Kabo Krian and Rh Engkabi Tingkat Seblak, Roban. 

It also said that the EMCO at Rh Luni Jugah, Rh Manna Mulok and Rh Nelson Chuat  Galong in Mukah as well as Rh Mut, Nangga Maong, Sungai Mujok ended today.

SDMC said Simunjan district had turned green after no local infection cases were recorded in past two weeks.

This increased the number of green districts in the state to four. They are Simunjan, Asajaya, Telang Usan and Kabong.

Tatau district has become orange after 32 local infection cases were recorded in the past 14 days.

“This increased the number of orange districts in the state to two while the number of red districts has decreased to 26.

“The number of yellow districts has also decreased to eight,” added SDMC.
