MIRI: Two local riders sustained minor injuries in separate accidents today (Feb 1).
A spokesman for the Civil Defence Force (APM) Miri said that the accidents happened at the Kampung Wireless intersection and Taman Shap Lee, Jalan Krokop 10.
The first accident at Kampung Wireless took place at around 10 am and a team was dispatched to the scene.
Upon arrival, they found that a 20-year-old man sustained scratches on his stomach and injuries on his left leg following a collision with a car while exiting a junction.
The injured victim was given treatment on site before he was taken to Miri Hospital for further medical attention.
Later at 12 pm, the team responded to another motorcycle accident at Taman Shap Lee.
By the time they arrived, they found that a 30-year-old man sustained wounds on his mouth and left eye after he rear-ended a pick-up truck.
Immediate treatment was administered for the victim before he was taken to Miri Hospital for further medical attention.
