SARIKEI: Repok assemblyman Datuk Seri Huang Tiong Sii distributed face masks, hand sanitisers and temperature-checking equipment to two schools here yesterday.
The recipients were Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (SMK) Bandar Sarikei and SMK Tinggi Sarikei.
“I hope everyone will practise good hygiene, wear face masks, and obey other practises such as social/physical distancing to curb the spread of Covid-19,” he said.
Both schools received 40 boxes of face masks, hand sanitisers (40 boxes) and temperature-checking equipment (four sets) each.
Representatives of the two schools expressed their gratitude to Huang for his support.
“We thank him for the contribution. The school really appreciates it,” said one of the schools’ spokesperson.
