SARIKEI: The police here arrested two men on suspicion of being involved in a theft case after a raid at 11.30am here on Monday.
Sarikei District Police chief, Superintendent Mat Jusoh Mohamad said a Perodua Kancil car believed to be used by the suspects was also seized.
“Two suspects aged 27 and 47 years were detained yesterday to assist in the investigation of a house break-in case and the theft of five bags of fertilizers at Sungai Pama on Aug 28,” Mat Jusoh said, adding that the case is being investigated under Section 457 of the Penal Code.
