BERA: A two-year-old child suffered from acute nicotine poisoning caused by an electronic cigarette.
The Health Ministry (MOH) in a statement said the child, who had no prior history of chronic illnesses, was discovered by their grandfather displaying symptoms such as coughing, vomiting, and difficulty breathing.
In close proximity to the child, a disposable e-cigarette device was found on the floor, suggesting that the child may have inadvertently inhaled or ingested the liquid from the disposable device.
