MIRI: The Head of State (TYT) Tun Pehin Sri Haji Abdul Taib Mahmud paid Raya visits to many local dignitaries yesterday.
Tun Pehin Sri Taib was accompanied by his wife Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Ragad Kurdi Taib, Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hassan, Assistant Minister of Security and Land and Air Transport and Tourism, Datuk Lee Kim Shin and Assistant Minister of Transportation, Datuk Dr Jerip Susil and other VIPs.
Their Excellencies’ fifth day of Raya visits started at Piasau here with a visit to Dato Wan Morshidi Abdul Rahman, Dato Abdillah Abdul Rahim and Talhah Mansor.
The entourage then proceeded with their visit to Dato Usop Sani Wahab in Pujut, Assistant Minister of Women, Family and Childhood Development, Rosey Yunus, Lambir Assemblyman, Ripin Lamat and Sibuti MP, Ahmad Lai Bujang.
In the evening, Their Excellencies are scheduled to attend an Aidilfitri gathering organised by Lembaga Amanah Kebajikan Melayu Miri in a hotel here.
