KUCHING: Head of State Tun Pehin Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud received a courtesy call from the Keman Kaul Mukah 2019 committee members at his residence in Demak Jaya here yesterday.
Led by its chairman Tan Sri Datuk Seri (Dr) Muhammad Leo Toyad Abdullah, the visitors came to invite Taib to officiate at the Keman Kaul Mukah closing ceremony on April 28 at Tapak Pesta Kaul, Kala Dana, Mukah.
The festival has started since April 20 with various activities such as handicraft sales, traditional game competitions, Melanau food sales and others organised.
