MIRI: Head of State Tun Pehin Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud yesterday paid Hari Raya Adilfitri visits to a number of residences here.
Tun Taib was joined by his wife Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Ragad Kurdi Taib and was accompanied by Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hassan, Assistant Minister of Tourism Datuk Lee Kim Shin as well as Transportation Assistant Minister Datuk Dr Jerip Susil and other dignitaries.
The fifth day of Aidilfitri visit commenced at Piasau with stops at the residences of Dato Wan Morshidi Abdul Rahman, Dato Abdillah Abdul Rahim and Talhah Mansor.
Thereafter they went to the residence of Dato Usop Sani Wahab at Pujut.
Tun Taib and entourage continued with their visit to the residence of Assistant Minister of Women, Family and Childhood Development Rosey Yunus, Lambir State Assemblyman Ripin Lamat and Sibuti Member of Parliament Ahmad Lai Bujang.
In the evening Tun Taib and wife were scheduled to attend Majlis Ramah Tamah Aidilfitri hosted by Lembaga Amanah Kebajikan Melayu Miri at a hotel here.
