KUCHING: The 15th edition of Lan Berambeh Anak Sarawak (LBAS) 2024 programme is returning at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) in Kuala Lumpur tomorrow (Oct 19).
Theme ‘Empowering Sarawak’s New Economy’, the event will begin with the official launch of the LBAS 2024 Exhibition at 8.30am, officiated by Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof, who also serves as the patron of Sarawak Volunteers.
Later in the afternoon, Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg is set to participate in the ‘Sarawak Agenda with the Premier’ Townhall Session, moderated by Deputy Minister of Health Datuk Lukanisman Awang Sauni at 3 pm.
The highlight of the evening, the Anak Sarawak Dinner, will be graced by the Sarawak Head of State Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar and his wife Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah Mohd Sanusi.
The Premier and other distinguished guests will also be in attendance.
A variety of engaging activities, including exhibitions, career talks, and ‘Kenyalang Speaks’ sessions, will be available to visitors throughout the day.
