SADONG JAYA: Head of State Tun Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar and his wife, Toh Puan Fauziah Mohd Sanusi paid an official visit to Kampung Pendam in Sadong Jaya.
His visit to his hometown started at the Datuk Patinggi Haji Abdul Rahman Yaakub Mosque at 12.50 pm and was greeted by the community leaders along with the residents of Kampung Pendam before he performed Friday prayers at the mosque.
After performing the Friday prayers, he also visited the Kampung Sadong Jaya Islamic Cemetery to visit his father’s grave before leaving for Kuching.
During his visit, he was accompanied by Minister of Tourism, Creative Industries and Performing Arts Datuk Seri Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah; State Secretary Datuk Amar Mohamad Abu Bakar Marzuki; Deputy Minister of Utilities and Communications Datuk Dr Abdul Rahman Junaidi; Deputy Minister of Infrastructure and Port Development Datuk Aidel Lariwoo; Batang Sadong MP Rodiyah Sapiee; and others.
