MoU during a ceremony held at UCTS yesterday.
SIBU: Universi ty Col lege of Technology Sarawak (UCTS) on Tuesday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Sabah Foundation Technical College (KTYS) on education, social, research, training and development in academic and technology.
UCTS was presented by its Vice Chancellor Professor Dato’ Dr Abdul Hakim Juri while KTYS was represented by its Chief Executive Officer Datuk Dr.Hajjah Tarsiah TZ Taman. In his welcoming speech, Abdul Hakim said UCTS was honoured to be able to work with KTYS.
“We hope the MoU will strengthen our collaboration with KTYS and able to work together in preparing human capital for the future. “It (MoU) is also to provide training for the staff, knowledge sharing, students exchange and opportunity for the students to grow in their career path,” he said.
Also present were UCTS Deputy Vice Chancel lor (Academic) Professor Dato Dr Sabarudin Mohd, Dean School of Engineering and Tehcnology Professor Ir Dr. Mohd Shahril,KTYS board member Datuk Light Nanis and others.
