KUCHING: Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) Sarawak held its annual mandate programme and discussing the direction of the university towards 2025.
The mandate programme was held online for the first time and was broadcasted live on UiTM Cawangan Sarawak Facebook page from 10am to 11.30am on Friday (Feb 19).
UiTM Sarawak Rector Prof Datuk Dr Jamil Hamali delivered his message to 700 people who attended the online mandate programme.
The programme aims to create an official platform for the rector to deliver his message, management wishes and share the achievements of UiTM Sarawak staff.
The main agenda of the programme was also discussed regarding the university’s direction called the UiTM Strategic Plan 2025.
Also present at the programme were deputy Rector of Academic and International Affairs Prof Dr Firdaus Abdullah, deputy Rector of Student Affairs Assoc Prof Dr Mohammad Isa Mohamadin and deputy Rector of Industrial Research and Networking Assoc Prof Dr Abang Zainoren Abang Abdurahman.
