KOTA SAMARAHAN: Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) Sarawak has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with MyT EduTech Berhad (MyT), a company in the education technology industry that focuses on supplementary learning.

UiTM Sarawak rector Prof Datuk Dr Jamil Hamali said MyT EduTech Berhad has shown their dedication in equipping the young generation with the various skills and training needed to succeed.

“This MoU is an agreement that reflects a mutual commitment to promote various programmes planned in an effort to provide a training and work platform for students and alumni.

“This includes one of the VIP Tutor Empowerment Course (VTEC), organised by MyT EduTech Berhad which is a proactive step to increase the marketability of UiTM graduates, especially in the field of education,” he said.

Prof Jamil said this at the MoU signing ceremony held at UiTM Campus 2, Kota Samarahan on Wednesday (Oct 25).

The collaboration also aims to plan a career path starting from industrial training placement followed by flexible career opportunities either as a tutor or a permanent employee.
