KUCHING: Dewan Jubli at Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM), Kota Samarahan Campus, has been designated as the venue for the chess event during the 21st Malaysia Games (Sukma), scheduled for this August.
Set to take place from Aug 20 to 24, the chess event will feature participants from 14 states.
The hall is anticipated to accommodate up to 1,000 spectators simultaneously, including players and tournament officials.
With a total of 42 chess sets slated for use during the event, the current player registration stands at 84 participants.
Meanwhile, Sukma is slated to take place across the state from Aug 17 to 24.
