KUCHING: The University Technology MARA (UiTM) Sarawak were able to seized six awards and crowned the overall Champions in the UiTM Got Talent 2019 competition held at the Panca Sakti Recital Hall, UiTM Shah Alam Cultural Centre.
The event was organised by the Shah Alam Campus which was held for three days (28 – 30 March) at the UiTM Shah Alam Cultural Centre.
The Sarawak UiTM contingent consist on dancer from the Rumpun Seni group and singer from the UiTM Sarawak Cultural Unit.
A total of 15 students from various faculty represented UiTM Sarawak to the event which are under the supervision of Group Manager Rumpun Seni Sarawak Campus, Evie SendiIbil.
The group managed to bring home the events trophy with a total of RM1, 000 in cash for the overall champions.
There are six categories won by the UiTM Sarawak, Best Dancer, Best Performances, Best Choreographer, First Runner Up in Singing, Best Costume in the Singing Category and Overall Champion of UiTM Got Talent 2019.
The event were attended by six other UiTM campus in Malaysia which are from UiTM Negeri Sembilan, Shah Alam, Malacca, Perak and Puncak Alam Campus.
