KUCHING: Director of the Malaysia Ministry of Foreign Affairs Sarawak Regional office, Fenny Nuli paid a courtesy call on Deputy Minister in the Premier’s Department (Corporate Affairs, Information and UKAS) Datuk Abdullah Saidol and Sarawak Public Communication Unit (UKAS) director Samuel Simon at UKAS headquarters at Baitul Makmur building today.
During the courtesy visit, Fenny highlighted the need for collaboration with UKAS to enhance publicity and promotion efforts for programmes related her ministry.
She also called upon UKAS to assist in creating awareness among Sarawakians about job scams and Macau scam.
Meanwhile, Samuel reiterated UKAS’s dedication to providing accurate and comprehensive information on its official platforms to support the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Sarawak Regional Office.
These include platform such as the UKAS ‘Juh Randau’ Talk Show discussing the issue of fraudulent job offers and bilateral relations between Malaysia and its neighbouring countries such as Indonesia and Brunei Darussalam.
Also present during the meeting were UKAS special administrative officer, Datuk Takun Sunggah and senior UKAS officers.
