SARIKEI: Nine schools in the division received donations of school shoes for the 2024 academic year from Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability and Sarikei MP Datuk Seri Huang Tiong Sii.

The schools that benefitted from the initiative are Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan (SJK) Siung Hua, SK Selangan, SJK Minar, SJK Nam Kiew, SJK Ming Tak, SK Rentap, SJK Hua Kee, SJK Sing Ming, and SJK Su Dok.

Representatives from the Sarikei Parliamentary Constituency Service Centre presented the school shoes to the respective schools recently.
