KUCHING: An unemployed man from Kampung Telaga Air, Matang was caught in possession of syabu weighing 15.03g on Wednesday afternoon.
Padawan police chief ACP Aidil Bolhasan confirmed that based on information received, the police went to an unnumbered house at Kampung Selang Laut, Jalan Matang here and checked the suspect.
The drugs were found in a blue/black Nike bag that the suspect was carrying.
Police then seized the drugs and arrested the 25-year-old under Section 39(A) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952. The suspect also tested positive for drugs.
He was detained in Siburan police station for further investigation.
