SARATOK: An unidentified man died on the spot after his motorcycle allegedly rear-ended an oil palm lorry at Kaki Wong junction this morning (Sept 8).
Firefighters from Saratok station were dispatched to the scene, about 15km away, after receiving an emergency call at 3.59am.
Upon arrival, they discovered the victim lying unconscious behind the lorry, which was without its owner.
Paramedics confirmed that the victim died on the spot and his body was handed over to the police for transport to the hospital.
The victim’s identity was not known as there was no identification document on his body.
Once the situation was deemed safe and the road was cleared from debris, the team ended the operation at 5.40am.
