MIRI: The Unit for Other Religions (UNIFOR) has allocated RM320,000 to two houses of worship here.

Transport Minister Datuk Seri Lee Kim Shin presented cheques to the Senadin Methodist Preaching Centre for RM200,000 and to the Tudan Methodist Church for RM120,000 recently.

Lee said this allocation demonstrates Sarawak’s commitment to supporting various religious establishments in the state. Through UNIFOR, the state government assists churches, temples, and gurdwaras.

He hopes these worship houses will continue to support local communities.
