KUCHING: The Sarawak UNIFOR Charitable Trust (SUCT) recently expressed its gratitude to the Development Bank of Sarawak (DBOS) for a generous donation of RM250,000.

Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas, who is also the Minister in Charge of UNIFOR, acknowledged the support from DBOS in a statement.

He said the bank’s contribution plays a vital role in promoting socio-religious harmony, preserving inclusivity, and supporting underprivileged communities.

“This generous donation will significantly aid SUCT in executing its programmes.

“We hope that DBOS will continue to support SUCT in its charitable commitment to the non-Muslim community in Sarawak,” he said.

On a related note, SUCT chief executive officer John Kennedy Janang, along with the new director of UNIFOR Datuk Georgina Apphia Ngau, paid a courtesy call on Uggah at his office today.
