TATAU: The Covid-19 vaccination programme for Bintulu division is expected to run from March 5 to 11, said Bintulu Disaster Management Committee chairman Jack Aman Luat.
He revealed this during the Covid-19 vaccination simulation training session at the Tatau Sports Hall here today.
Jack, who is also Bintulu Resident, added the programme would start with frontliners including health staff and security personnel.
The number of frontliners who will receive this vaccine would depend on the vaccine doses given by the Sarawak Disaster Management Committee, he said.
Further elaborating, he said the first phase of the programme would be held at Universiti Putra Malaysia Bintulu Campus, Bintulu Development Authority Auditorium, Sebauh Community Hall as well as Tatau Sports Hall.
“I am very satisfied with the smooth running of today’s simulation exercise which involves personnel from the Civil Defence Force (APM), Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), police and the People’s Volunteer Corp (Rela).
“I hope that the vaccination process on the actual day will also run smoothly,” he added.
