SRI AMAN: Seven individuals suffered minor injuries when the van they were traveling in skidded and crashed in front of a Baptist church near Lachau on Sunday.
The accident occurred at 10.30 am as a family of six, and driver, was en route to Bintulu.
Upon receiving the alert, the Fire and Rescue Department (MFRD) promptly dispatched firemen from Sri Aman station to the scene.
Upon arrival, responders discovered that the van had veered into a ditch. Fortunately, the passengers managed to exit the vehicle and reach safety.
The injured victims received immediate first aid on-site before being transported to the hospital for further medical attention.
At present, the identities of the victims and the specific nature of their injuries remain undisclosed.
