KUCHING: A series of impactful programmes will be organised by Lodge Group of Schools in conjunction with its 70th anniversary celebration.
Lodge Group of Schools director Su Hiong Hi said the activities will be held between April and November this year.
“The activities that are set to take place are the Go Green Project, Science and Mathematics Quizzes and Exhibition in May, Food Fiesta in June, Go Bald and A Day of Love in July, Blood Donation Drive and English and Malay Debate Competitions in August, Lodge Jogathon in September and finally, the Anniversary Dinner that will take place in November.
“So let us make this year’s celebration a meaningful one by taking part in each of them,” he said during the Lodge Platinum Jubilee soft launching ceremony at Lodge National Secondary School’s Hall yesterday (Mar 28).
To commemorate the school’s 70th anniversary, he said the first activity was the Logo Design Competition which took place in October 30 last year.
The event also saw the launch of Lodge Group of School’s new official Facebook, which will allow people to see the latest happenings in Lodge.
Winners of the Lodge 70th Anniversary Logo Contest also received their prizes.
The first, second, and third place winners were Jayden Tan Hao Ren of Lodge National Primary School, Irene Livina Pangestu (Lodge International School), and Ann Wong En Hui (Lodge International School) respectively.
Consolation prizes were also presented to Charmaine Yong Yuen Yii and Jennifer Pangestu of Lodge International School.
