MIRI: Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) 2023 candidates in Miri can now use Curtin Malaysia’s university library to prepare themselves for their examinations.

Opening its doors to the candidates from Feb 5 to Mar 7, it stated that the initiative offers the candidates a conducive learning environment with up-to-date library services and resources to prepare for their upcoming examination

“This is the second year that the Curtin Malaysia Library opens itself for the candidates following a very positive response last year, where over 150 students, mainly from Senadin, Lutong, Pujut, Merbau, Taman Tunku, Permyjaya, and other nearby areas, used the library facilities for their revision.

“This year, the library is available to the students from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday, and from 9 am to 4 pm on Saturday and Sunday. The library’s staff will be on hand should they need any assistance with the use of the facilities,” it said in a statement today.

It added that the multi-storey library at Curtin Malaysia is modern, spacious and equipped with the latest technologies, including high-speed internet, in addition to its extensive collection of printed and electronic books, journals and magazines.

The library also has a range of learning spaces for students to study individually or in groups, including computer labs, an audio-visual room quiet study spaces, as well as printing, scanning and photocopying services.
