KUCHING: Venture into the vending machine industry and increase knowledge in entrepreneurship to uplift the community’s financial and economic wellbeing.
Deputy Minister for Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts, Datuk Sebastian Ting said the community needed to realise that efforts to generate more income for the family actually lie in their own hands.
“This is because the family’s financial and economic situation has a great influence on family institutions in Malaysia.
“We want to call on more private companies to organise entrepreneurship seminars and financial skills workshops to encourage more people in the community to diligently find business opportunities that can generate passive income for their families,” he said at the Vending Machine Entrepreneurship Seminar at Marriott Resort Miri today.
His text of speech was read by Kapitan Aries Leong.
Adding further, he said society needed the help and support of friends from the private sector in finding and exploring various business opportunities that helped generate income either actively or passively.
“As (managing director of Borneo MA Smart Vendors Sdn Bhd) Andenson Dato mentioned just now, our society now has the opportunity to explore and venture into the increasingly popular “vending machine” business.
“On this occasion, I would like to call on all participants to seize this opportunity to increase their knowledge and gain exposure in venturing into the field of entrepreneurship, especially the vending machine business,” he said.
Earlier Andenson called on all the participants to invite and invite their relatives, friends and neighbours to join the series of seminars that would be organised in 2024.
“Our company, Borneo MA Smart Vendors Sdn Bhd together with our friends from F&J Smart Marketing Global Sdn Bhd and Goldmind Evolution Sdn Bhd will hold more entrepreneur seminars next year including in other parts in the inland areas of Sabah and Sarawak.
“Your efforts aim to give people the opportunity to enjoy a lucrative source of passive income,” he said.
