Of course, I feel very happy to have completed my three-year studies with academic and co-curricular (department) excellence awards.

In high school, my grades were so bad that I was ineligible to graduate. So I studied hard throughout the diploma course and was very happy when I received this award.

While studying, my friends and lectures helped me a lot, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic when we had online classes.

I really targeted from the beginning of the semester to get this award. My friends and I worked together and my friends always encouraged me.

I come from Sabah. It was a challenge when I first studied here. Moreover, our lecturers sometimes used the local dialect, so I tried to learn Sarawak Malay language. I also managed to get the dean’s award every semester, from semester one to six.

I feel very proud because my hard work throughout my three-year of studies has finally paid off.

Later, I intend to continue studying in the field of information technology at any local university. But I prefer to go to a university that is close to my home.

Even though our batch went through a pandemic phase where the learning was done online, I am proud to be able to complete a diploma in this field by getting this award.

Now I am taking a degree in the same field at Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS). I am determined to achieve the same excellence later.
