SEMATAN: The Sarawak government will continue its development initiatives in Kampung Temaga Melayu, according to Opar assemblyman Billy Sujang.
During the Hari Raya celebration at the village on Saturday, he outlined several projects slated for the area.
“Among them are a RM200,000 agricultural road project for Kampung Temaga Melayu, road paving from house to house, and the upgrading of the Darul Iman Mosque,” he said.
He also highlighted the support extended to local associations and committees, which receive government assistance to organise activities beneficial to the community.
At the event, he announced the allocation of a RM10,000 Minor Rural Project (MRP) grant to the Village Development and Security Committee (JKKK).
Also present were Political Secretary to the Premier, Niponi Undek, Penghulu Jumahdi Sabian, and the village chief, Othman Ibrahim.
