MUKAH: A total of 32 residents in the Mukah area donated blood during a donation drive at Mukah Hospital recently.
The programme was organised by Tellian branch of Sarawak United National Youth Organisation held in conjunction with the golden jubilee celebration SABERKAS this year.
It was aimed at making SABERKAS members aware of the importance and benefits of donating blood and helping people.
It also helped overcome the problem of lack of blood in government hospitals while strengthening the role of SABERKAS in fostering public health.
Tellian assemblyman Royston Valentine officiated at the programme.
