KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia’s largest promotional virtual fair, Study in Malaysia Virtual Event 2020 will be starting from June 6 until Sept 6.
Organised by Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS) in collaboration with QStudy, the virtual fair will cover 20 countries across regions with participation from over 20 Malaysian higher education institutions.
With the aim to increase Malaysia’s visibility virtually, EMGS in a statement said it believes that the fair would serve as a platform to attract more international students to come and study in Malaysia.
“It is a step forward towards making Malaysia the preferred education hub for international students,” it said.
Established on April 13, 2012, EMGS is a Company Limited by Guarantee (‘CLBG’) under the purview of the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia and responsible for promoting Malaysia as the international education hub of choice and to position Malaysia as one of the Top 10 education destinations.
It is also the principal body that manages the movement of international students in Malaysia, including facilitating visa processing.
The company said students who enroll and submit their applications during the virtual event would be given a free one-way air ticket to travel to Malaysia and RM1,000 cashback when they come and register in Malaysia campus, alongside chances to win exclusive lucky draw prizes. – Bernama
