MUKAH: Some 600 new students are expected to enroll at Politeknik Mukah (PMU) here for 2021/2022 Session 1 when they begin to register virtually on Sept 20 starting from 8.30am.

Head of Students Affairs and Development Department (JHEPP) Awang Annuar Awang Mansor, said for senior students of the 2021/2022 Session 1, they would register on Sept 23 and 24 beginning 8.30am.

He disclosed this during a virtual meeting at PMU on Tuesday, which discussed matters pertaining to planning and implementing the registration process to ensure that it would be carried out smoothly.

“It is also to monitor the preparation for the registration process,” he added.

Awang Annuar said the students would be required to pay for the course fee of 2021/2022 Session 1 only upon registration, while hostel fee could be paid when they arrive at the campus later on, on a date yet to be decided.

According to him, this time around payment for course fee would be conducted online through JomPay, and for details the students could refer to PMU official website.

He added students who have problems in registering to enter PMU are required to contact JHEPP at 084-874001.

Courses which are currently offered at PMU include Diploma in Civil Engineering, Diploma in Electronic Engineering (Communication), Diploma in Electric and Electronic Engineering, Diploma in Information Technology (Digital Technology), Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Diploma in Accountancy, Diploma in Business Studies and Diploma in Secretarial Science.
