KUCHING: Vivacity Megamall managed to raise a total of RM18,000 from its second charity run last Saturday.

The money raised was later presented to four selected charity homes.

The four recipients are Salvation Army Boy’s Home, Kuching Life Care Society, and Sarawak Society for the Deaf which each received RM5,000 while the Boys’ Brigade 2nd Kuching Company received RM3,000.

The mall’s centre manager Jonathan Naming flagged off the run last Saturday at 6pm but a downpour didn’t dampen the spirit of the 900 runners.

Vivacity’s management also thanked all the runners and sponsors for being part of the mall’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme.
