MUKAH: SJK Ek Hua, Kampung Penakub Ulu here carried out a general cleaning of the school compound on Tuesday morning.
This Chinese medium primary school, which is about 10 minutes’ drive from the town centre, was one of those schools affected by the recent flood that hit many parts of Sarawak.
The general cleaning involved the local Fire and Rescue Department, youth organisations, RELA members, PBB members, KRT members, members of the school board, PTA members, villagers, teachers and students.
Besides helping to clean up the school compound, the event succeeded in instilling the spirit of togetherness among the local community.
