KUCHING: Former Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Law and Parliament), Datuk Seri Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar has tied the knot for the second time.

According to Astro Awani, the 77-year-old, who is also the former Santubong MP, will be holding a wedding reception at a hotel in Kuala Lumpur tonight.

Several photos of Wan Junaidi and his new wife Datin Seri Fauziah Mohd Sanusi, which were believed to have taken during the couple’s solemnisation ceremony recently, have been circulated on social media.

Premier Sarawak Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg as well as several senior leaders are expected to attend the wedding reception, which will begin at 7.30pm.

Wan Junaidi had decided to step down and not to seek re-election during the recently concluded 15th General Election, and to give way to Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri to defend Santubong.

He has three daughters from his previous marriage.

This is Wan Junaidi’s second marriage after the death of his wife, Datin Seri Norjanah Feona Sim Abdullah on May 27 this year.
