KUCHING: President of Dewan Negara Tan Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar has revealed that his Telegram account has been hacked recently.
In a statement issued today, Wan Junaidi said that he had since made a report to the authorities regarding the matter.
“I would like to remind the public not to be fooled by the messages or calls claiming to be me, especially regarding finance or meeting appointments.
“Please call my office at 03-26017610 should they have received such messages,” he said.
He expressed his regrets concerning the situation from irresponsible parties and hoped that the community would not be tricked with such scams.
“I would like to remind the public to be aware of the scam syndicate and report these hackers to the authorities as soon as possible,” he added.
