MIRI: A wasp nest was destroyed on Saturday night at a house in Kampung Muhibbah Kuala Baram.
This was done after the homeowner’s wife got stung by the wasp.
According to Miri Civil Defence Force (APM) officer in-charge Captain (PA) Usman Harto, four of his personnel were deployed to the location in response to an emergency alert that was received at 8.40pm.
The team successfully destroyed and removed the nest which was situated on the house’s awning.
They completed the operation at 9.37pm.
