Rural Water Supply Department (JBALB) has issued a notice on a water supply disruption in Sarikei district which will start on Saturday (July 29) from 9am to 4pm.
Affected areas involve Jalan Bayong, the main road from the Kiew Mang Jakar junction to Sebangkoi and the along the roads from Selalang junction to Rumah Moses.
The department stated the disruption of water supply is to give way for the Pan Borneo contractor to work on temporary pipe connection at the Bayong junction.
Residents of the said areas are advised to store enough water at homes for daily use during the disruption period.
