KUCHING: As nothing lasts forever, the same is true of Covid-19, said chairman of Kota Samarahan Municipal Council Datuk Peter Minos.
He expressed his heartfelt emotion as he sees that everyone very much depends on each and other during the movement control order (MCO) which has been in force since March 18.
“If we faithfully abide by the MCO, it is a matter of time before Covid-29 is defeated. Staying at home won’t be boring if we keep ourselves occupied.
“We can pray to God to get rid of the evil virus. We can and we should. There is always the power of divine intervention,” he told New Sarawak Tribune, yesterday.
Minos also urged the public not to despair, be calm and stay safe.
“I believe that we will survive. By standing together we can beat the pandemic. We will come out better and wiser,” he said.
