PUSA: The state Pakatan Harapan (PH) chairman Chong Chieng Jen’s accusation that the Sarawak government did not give priority to repairing dilapidated schools is a “weak attempt to shift the blame”. Saribas assemblyman Mohammad Razi Sitam said Chong’s blame game was merely to cover up for the PH government’s failings.

Razi said Sarawakians are now able to make up their minds as to which party is truly committed to the development of Sarawak, especially when it comes to addressing the issue of dilapidated schools.

“Chong’s statement is in stark contrast to the commitment given by the state government today, and the people can see through his manipulation.

“The Sarawak government is using its own funds and this proves that Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) government’s sincerity in providing the infrastructural needs of all Sarawakians,” he said when met after the Iqra Perdana DUN Saribas programme at Masjid Ar-Rayyan Kampung Tuie here, yesterday.
