MUKAH: A total of 408 participants from all over Malaysia participated in an Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) in Road Transport 2022 webinar organised by Mukah Polytechnic (PMU) and the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) last Friday (Apr 22).
The sharing for the webinar was presented by NIOSH Certification Sdn Bhd Training division training manager Azizie Hamid.
According to the programme director Norashikin Samuri, it aimed to gain information and opinions from experts in the field of occupational safety and health and provide awareness on the importance of occupational safety and health in civil engineering and logistics and transportation.
“The target group was technology experts, lecturers and students in the fields of civil engineering and logistics, transportation as well as civil servants from various agencies throughout Malaysia,” she said.
Also present was the deputy director of the programme Rahayu Ali.
