SIBU: Democratic Action Party (DAP) Sibu Service Centre P.212 is offering welfare subsidy assistance to all voters in the Sibu Parliamentary constituency.
According to Sibu Member of Parliament, Oscar Ling, the subsidy involves the purchase of wheelchairs and medical beds for sick individuals.
“The initiative has been offered since March 1. However, many people still don’t know about it and we hope that through the media, it will become more widely known,” he said.
Ling said a subsidy of RM100 can be redeemed for every purchase of a wheelchair.
“For the purchase of a medical bed, patients can get a subsidy of RM300. Both can be redeemed on the condition that they must bring the purchase receipt and the receipt must be issued after March 1, 2023. They also need to include the receipt of the patient’s medical report,” he said.
To get the subsidy, the public can visit the Sibu DAP Headquarters to make an application. Applications are only open to voters of P.212 Sibu area only.
