POPULAR Irish boyband Westlife is set to make a return to Malaysian soil in June. The concert will be held at the Arena of Stars in Resorts World Genting at 6pm on June 9.

Shane Filan, Nicky Byrne and Kian Egan are set to delight fans with their hits like “My Love”, “Swear It Again” and “Uptown Girl”.

This will be the first time that the band performs as a trio following Mark Feehily’s decision to leave the band last month due to health issues.

Early last month, Feehily posted on Instagram, saying that he would not be touring with his fellow members to prioritise his recovery.

The 43-year-old said that he had to undergo four major surgeries for sepsis and hernia between August 2020 and March 2024.

The organiser, MMIC Entertainment Group, said that the Westlife Hits Tour will take place around the East Asian region, with stopovers in Malaysia, Indonesia and China.
