MIRI: A brutal brawl between two women over a man left one of them, the wife, with an injured lower jaw on Tuesday morning.
The commotion reportedly happened inside a budget hotel room at Jalan Bintang here at around 8am.
A police report was lodged by the injured wife at Miri central police station that same morning.
It was learnt that her husband, in his mid-30s, fled the scene with the other woman, believed to be his love interest, after the brawl.
Sources added that prior to the incident, the 30-year-old wife, was with her husband inside the room when suddenly the attacker, a Filipina in her mid-20s, appeared. The brawl broke out after that.
The wife claimed that she was hit by the attacker with a glass cup.
