KUCHING: SJKC Chung Hua Stampin, located at Jalan Sungai Tapang will undergo a construction to install covered walkway cum waiting area, pre-mix additional car parks and general repairs to the existing fences of the school.
Kota Sentosa assemblyman, Wilfred Yap said that the cost of the construction amounting to RM50,000 will commence via his Rural Transformation Project (RTP) grant.
“The project will be carried out through ‘gotong royong’ cooperation by the Kota Sentosa Village Security and Development Committees (JKKK) with assistance from the school management board under the supervision of Padawan Municipal Council (MPP).
“This RTP project, although modest in value will ensure more roofed car parks for parents and students, to shield them from the hot or rainy weather,” he said in a recent statement.
Yap has displayed his consistent dedication to providing a conducive and productive educational experience for every student in the surrounding seven mile area regardless of race and religion.
“The partnership between the school management board and me reflects my shared vision to empower the next generation with the resources they need for a brighter future by creating a positive impact and supporting the community of Kota Sentosa.
“I will continue my effort to prioritise the welfare and educational prospects of our young learners in Kota Sentosa and look forward to seeing their aspirations and dreams flourish in this improved environment for the progress and development of my constituency,” he added.
